About DZ Chicago

Our chapter has been established since 2010. We have a passionate group of engaged women who lift each other up in big moments and in small. We meet regularly for sisterhoods and offer a number of interest-based clubs. Our membership spans across Chicagoland including the suburbs.

Missy is an alumna of Loyola Marymount University and hails from sunny, Southern California. Her first call when she moved here in 2018 was to the DZ alum chapter, and has loved every moment in the Chicago alum chapter since. She is a recruiter for LaSalle Network (if you work in marketing and are looking for a new job, message Missy!), is on the board of governors for the Mid America Club, and is the co-chair of the Young Professionals Board of the Gateway Foundation here in Chicago. She has a passion for volunteering, loves her friends and sisters more than life, and can be found drinking Chardonnay any night of the week and watching Green Bay Packers football!

Meredith Ferguson

Chapter Liaison

Meredith joins us from the Omicron Omicron chapter at Lindenwood University in the St. Louis Metro area. After earning BAs in Graphic Design and Art History she returned to her hometown outside of Chicago to being working in plaintiff's legal work specializing in Medical Malpractice. She searched for a way to connect with others in the post-lockdown after effects of COVID-19 and found our DZ Chicago Alumnae Chapter. Apart from that, Meredith is involved in the United Nations Chicago Chapter. In her free time she enjoys painting and can be found at Taylor Swift drag night.

Lauren Burroughs

Book Club Chair

Lauren Burroughs comes to Chicago from Ohio. She grew up in Liberty Township, OH and later completed her BS in Journalism and BS in Visual Communications at Ohio University where she was a member of the Omicron Gamma chapter. Currently, Lauren works as a Solution Architect at Contentful. When she isn’t working or reading something as Book Club Chair, Lauren fosters dogs from One Tail at a Time to house and train them until they can be adopted by their furever families.

Sandy Davila

Dining Club Chair

Sandy is a graduate of the Alpha Beta Chapter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As DZ Chicago's Dining Club Chair Sandy organizes restaurant outings on the 15h of each month. She also sits on our Scholarship Committee and previously served as Chapter Liaison. Sandy works in Marketing at a locally headquartered mortgage lender.

Abby Vogt

Grants Chair

Abby graduated from Clemson University (Pi Epsilon) in 2015. She joined DZ Chicago in 2018 shortly after she moved back to Chicago from living in Atlanta for a few years after graduation. She currently works as a Project Manger for a CPG company in Chicago. Abby's favorite part of DZ Chicago is discussing different books monthly as part of the Book Club. If she's not reading, you can find Abby and Cubby (her beagle) walking around Logan Square.
